Lo-fi dream punk trio Rituals released a 4 song tape in June 2011, followed by their debut 7’ on Unfamiliar Records. Rituals are currently finishing their new LP for HDD, tentatively to be released this fall.

// DUSTED
After six years of constant HOLY FUCK touring, BRIAN BORCHERDT emerged with a new offering of songs, a stripped down presentation, disguised under the name DUSTED. The debut LP will come to life July 10th 2012 on Hand Drawn Dracula (Canada) & Polyvinyl (International).

// ARMY GIRLS
Toronto two piece Army Girls released their debut EP ‘Close To The Bone’ this fall on Blocks Recording Club and are currently busy recording their first LP. Currently on a month long tour with PS I Love You.

// BELIEFS
Local Dreampop-Shoegazers (feat. Candle Recording’s Josh Korody) are working on their debut full-length.

BRIAN BORCHERDT‘s much anticipated project, DUSTED, will officially be releasing their debut album, Total Dust, on July 10th in conjunction w/ Polyvinyl Records. PRE-ORDERS are available now at the HDD STORE.

The full length album arrives as a limited edition of 300 180-gram maroon LPs & as a deluxe CD package with an exclusive CD only bonus track!

The first single, “(Into The) Atmosphere”, is “a dewy lo-fi pop ramble, with sweetly multi-tracked vocals, cavernous layers of melancholy guitar strums, and galloping, off-kilter percussion.” – (SPIN.com)

HDD is pleased to bring you the third video from BRUCE PENINSULA‘s ‘Open Flames’. Shot in Toronto, ‘In Your Light’ was directed and animated by Jesse Ewles and produced by Mike Juneau.
