Hand Drawn Dracula is pleased to release a FREE digital single, remix, and brand new music video from Toronto's Bishop Morocco. James Sayce (ex-Tangiers, Deadly Snakes) and Jake Fairley (Fairmont) combine their expansive musical backgrounds and influences to create Bishop Morocco.
The digital single includes a remix of Last Year's Disco Guitars by Holy Fuck's Graham Walsh. The accompanying music video is directed by Eva Michon (Bad Day Magazine) and features fashion designer Rita Liefhebber and Jacob Jurkiewicz. View the video below or watch in HD HERE. A couple years ago, brothers Paul and Michael Murphy shared scotch and started writing songs at their parents house in Yarmouth, N.S. They were penning tunes for their mom about people in their family; all captured through the mic of a laptop. 12 ideas were born, most of which got reworked eight months later in Halifax with proper mics, click tracks: minus the booze. The result is Postdata, the name for the duo and the debut Vinyl on Hand Drawn Dracula Jan. 26th, 2010.
